DIVERSITY

At NMS, we are working to expand our socio-economic landscape so that we may more fully embrace the belief of Dr. Maria Montessori that we all benefit from an international community which values respect for others and pride in individual differences.

We believe that the unique educational experience at NMS will affirm for each individual involved that they have a distinct identity, of which they should be very proud and confident as they participate in our complex world.

• NMS is a member of Children First Natick, a Community Partnership Program for Children which offers preschool scholarship funding.

• NMS has a Diversity Fund called the Joukowsky Scholarship Fund that allows the school to support teacher education programs that promote multicultural teaching practices and classroom sponsorships for children in third world countries.
