The Natick Montessori School is a Full Member the American Montessori Society www.amshq.org

Our teaching practices are founded in the best aspects of the Montessori Method of education. We emphasize hands-on, independent learning activities that allow children to analyze and master concepts at their own pace. Families are active participants in many aspects of the school environment, which allows the children to see and feel the pride in and importance of their education. Parents and teachers work together as a team to best plan and serve the needs of the children. We view each child as a separate and unique contributor to our community and work to support and guide towards his/her interests.

NMS runs on the traditional school calendar of September to June.

All programs are five days a week. It has been tried and true that young children are most successful in learning and developing when following a consistent routine. Having children attend five days a week allows them to build self-confidence in their social and academic pursuits because they are able to navigate the schedule independently without confusion.
